1. In short

Write to support@postaro.at with the subject “Delete my data”. We delete your data within one month at the latest (Art. 12 and 17 GDPR), usually within a few days, and confirm it by e-mail. It is free of charge.

The controller is maxiFIT Sebersdorf e.U., Oberlimbach 33, 8271 Bad Waltersdorf, Austria. Everything else about how we process data is in our privacy policy.

2. Delete your customer account

  1. If a subscription is still running, cancel it first in the portal under Settings → Connection → Cancel subscription (or just say so in your e-mail and we cancel it for you).
  2. Send the e-mail from the address you use to sign in to Postaro – that way we know the request really comes from you. From another address we will check back once for safety.
  3. We delete your account, knowledge profile, posts, graphics, reels, uploaded photos and music, design settings and the encrypted access keys (Buffer, your own AI key).
  4. You receive a confirmation by e-mail.

3. Delete a preview (demo)

If you only tried the free preview, send us the website address or the share link of your preview. We delete the preview including the posts and images created from it.

4. Facebook or Instagram

Today Postaro publishes through your Buffer account; we do not receive any login data from Facebook or Instagram. As soon as you connect Postaro directly with Facebook or Instagram, you can also end the connection there and trigger the deletion:

  1. Open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites (or Business integrations).
  2. Select Postaro and tap Remove.
  3. Facebook informs us automatically. We delete the access tokens and all data we received from Facebook or Instagram, and Facebook gives you a confirmation code with a link where you can check the status at any time.

Posts already published on your Facebook page or Instagram profile belong to you; you delete them directly there.

5. Buffer connection

In the portal under Settings → Connection → Disconnect we delete the access key to your Buffer account immediately. Your Buffer account itself is your contract with Buffer; you delete data there at Buffer.

6. What we keep

7. Status of your request

If you have a confirmation code (e.g. from Facebook), you can check the status under Status of the deletion request.
