Notice on AI-generated content
Last updated: 2026-10-27
Postaro works with artificial intelligence (AI). This page explains which parts of your posts are AI-generated, what that means for you and how to label them correctly.
What is AI-generated
| Part | How is it made? |
|---|---|
| Post texts, headlines, hashtags | written by an AI language model based on your knowledge profile, then automatically checked against your knowledge (fact check) |
| Photos in graphics and reels | either your own photos or photos from your website – or AI-generated images if no suitable own photo is available. With the setting "No AI photos – own photos only", Postaro uses your photos exclusively. |
| Graphics (layout) | assembled from fixed design templates with your colours, logo and font (no AI) |
| Voice-over in reels | synthetic AI voice (not a real person) reading a text written and checked by Postaro; can be switched off |
| Moving scenes in reels | real stock videos from Pixabay (no AI), checked for fit by an AI |
| Music | licensed music (no AI) from our or your library |
What this means for you
- AI can make mistakes. The fact check holds back posts with invented prices, wrong times or promises that are not in your knowledge – it does not replace a final check by you. In the "approval" workflow nothing goes out without your click.
- You publish. The posts appear on your channels and under your name; you are responsible for them (see terms section 8).
- AI images never show your real product. For posts about a specific product, Postaro only uses an own, checked photo or a neutral mood image without goods – never an invented product image.
Labelling: what applies
The EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, Art. 50) requires, among other things, that realistic AI-generated or AI-manipulated images, videos or audio that appear authentic ("deepfakes") are disclosed as AI-generated. Instagram, Facebook and TikTok also require or recommend labelling realistic AI content.
Our recommendation for your posts:
- Realistic AI photo with people or places that look real: label it as AI content when publishing (Instagram/Facebook: "AI info" / "Made with AI"; TikTok: "AI-generated content") or add a short note such as "Image: AI-generated" to the text.
- Reel with AI voice: the voice does not pretend to be a real person. If viewers could take it for a real person (e.g. because it speaks in your name), add "Voice: AI" to the text.
- Texts: advertising texts that you check and take responsibility for generally do not need to be labelled as AI text.
- Safest option: the setting "No AI photos – own photos only" in the portal (Content or Design studio). Your posts then contain no AI images.
In the portal, Postaro shows for posts where the image comes from (your website, your library or AI). The image and video files themselves do not yet contain a machine-readable AI label (e.g. as metadata).
